Microprocessor hump yard interlocking system

Microprocessor hump automatic centralization (MP HAC) is a new type of system and is designed to control the dissolution of trains on humps in both mainline and industrial railway transport.

Includes the functions of traditional hump centralization systems in railway transport, as well as new functions based on advanced information technologies.

Designed to work together with existing relay and microprocessor automatic hump centralization systems without making changes to their operating algorithms.

MP HAC is used for:

  • Organization of control and/or management of the dissolution of trains during the organization, transfer or modernization of work stations of the dispatch apparatus;
  • Organizations for monitoring the status of alarm, centralization and blocking devices of hump automatic centralization, when organizing dispatch control systems;
  • Transferring information about the state of HAC devices to higher and related systems in real time.

Functions performed by MP HAC

Dialogue function:

  • Display of information and interaction of operational personnel with MP HAC;
  • Interaction with other information control systems – telemechanics, power supply, MP DC, ASK VP UZ, etc.

Monitoring the operational train situation on the hump:

  • Maintaining train position models at the hump;
  • Control of the movement of the cut: cut numbers, specified unraveling route;
  • Monitoring the filling of hump tracks;
  • Analysis of formed compositions.

Management and monitoring of the status of SZhAT objects:

  • Tele-alarm system;
  • Telecontrol;
  • Automatic control of HAC devices (together with other subsystems).

Logging of work:

  • Recording control actions of operating personnel;
  • Recording the train situation at the marshalling hump;
  • Fixing malfunctions of the equipment of the MP HAC and associated systems;
  • Recording the results of routine checks and system diagnostics after the initial boot and during recovery after failures.

Monitoring the operational train situation on the hump:

  • Maintaining the reliability parameters of the technical means of the control system at a given level and monitoring the life cycle systems;
  • Maintaining information reliability parameters at a given level;
  • Monitoring the serviceability of the MP HAC system;
  • Notification about malfunction of HAC and MP HAC devices.
