Railway transport of industrial enterprises is an important element in the logistics chain of movement of material flows, which provides direct interaction with the transfer of goods between cargo owners and trunk railways. Today, the transport system of Ukraine includes more than 7 thousand tracks of industrial enterprises with access to the public roads of JSC “Ukrzaliznitsa” with a total length of about 27 thousand km. The analysis of the work of the railways of Ukraine shows that more than 90% of all cargo operations are currently performed precisely on the tracks of industrial enterprises. Thus, the level of efficiency and operational reliability of the operation of railway transport of industrial enterprises affects both the work of main railways and the work of enterprises themselves, because freight traffic “originated” on the tracks of elevators, metallurgical combines, refineries, tank farms, mining and processing plants and ports…
