On February 26-27, 2013, in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan, a working meeting was held with representatives of the Information Technology Directorate of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy NC JSC (Kazakhstan Railways).

During the meeting, RWA specialists made a presentation of the company’s design solutions in the field of mainline and industrial railway transport — microprocessor train control systems.

Currently, in the Republic of Kazakhstan, significant attention is paid to the development of transport infrastructure. Large-scale projects for modernization, reconstruction and capital construction of railway transport facilities are being implemented, in particular, the introduction of modern automation and telemechanics systems that ensure the timeliness and safety of passenger and cargo transportation.

Students appreciated RWA’s innovative design solutions and the company’s experience in the design and implementation of microprocessor centralization systems. The meeting resulted in agreements between the parties on further cooperation.
