The RWA company has begun work on the overhaul of telemechanics systems at eight stations of the Saltovskaya line of the Kharkov Metro.

In 2013, RWA continued cooperation with the Kharkov Metro on the technical modernization of metro systems. By this time, 5 stations of the Alekseevskaya and Kholodnogorsko-Zavodskaya metro lines were equipped with equipment and software systems produced by RWA.

In February 2013, the company’s specialists began implementing the next stage of work – a major overhaul of the telemechanics systems of eight stations of the Saltovskaya metro line – from the “University” station to the “Heroes of Labor” station.

The systems that ensure the operation of engineering networks – ventilation, water supply, and electricity supply – are subject to reconstruction. The company’s task is to create an automated control system for station technological equipment, which will allow for effective control and collection of information with display at the dispatcher’s workplace.

As a result of modernization, centralized control and operational management of the operation of engineering and technical devices of the metro will be ensured.
