RWA (Railwayautomatic) company together with Schneider Electric, a leading manufacturer of equipment for process automation and energy management systems, July 26-27, 2017. in Kiev, in the conference hall of the Crystal Business Center, a seminar was held on “Schneider Electric power supply and automation solutions for rail transport enterprises”.

Heads of departments of PJSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”, metro systems of Ukraine, specialized universities, design institutes, and enterprises implementing solutions for rail transport based on Schneider Electric equipment were invited to participate in the seminar:

• Director of the Department of Automation and Telecommunications, heads of the technical department and signaling department of PJSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”.

• Excursion to the technical class of the traffic service of the Kiev Metro at the Lukyanovskaya station to familiarize yourself with the Training complex “Train traffic control training complex”

• Presentations of Schneider Electric M580 and SCADA VijeoCitect controllers;
• Presentations of RWA company implementations: Modern highly reliable and safe train traffic control systems for public and non-public railway transport and subways – speakers V.V.

During the seminar, participants got acquainted with solutions successfully used for industry services of rail transport enterprises for power supply, modern microprocessor traffic control systems, and escalator automation. We exchanged views on the need to use systems with standard data transfer protocols that are as open as possible for operational staff.
