On September 20-23, the international railway exhibition InnoTrans — 2016 took place in Berlin.

InnoTrans is the world’s leading trade fair for rail transport, which takes place in Berlin at the MesseBerlin Exhibition Center every two years.

The five main segments of the InnoTrans exhibition include:

• RailwayTechnology (railway technology),
• Railway Infrastructure (railway infrastructure),
• Public Transport (public transport),
• Interiors (internal equipment),
• Tunnel Construction (tunnel construction).

More than 2,955 exhibitors from 60 countries, 100,000 specialist visitors took part in the next InnoTrans-2016 exhibition, and among them was the General Director of Railwayautomatic, Dmitry Kuzmenko. During the exhibition, a number of meetings were held at which the prospects and directions for the development of modern railway automation systems were discussed
